In 1992 the United Nations held the “United Nations Conference on Environment and Development”, in Rio de Janeiro. The outcome of this conference was an action plan called U.N. Agenda 21. Agenda 21 is a comprehensive blueprint of action to be taken globally, nationally, and locally by organizations of the United Nations, governments, and major groups in every area in which humans directly affect the environment. Today Agenda 21 is being implemented across America. It disguises itself with terms such as Smart Growth and Sustainable Development. It is being implemented by our federal government, state governments, and local governments. These governments are hiding behind the environmental movement that has swept across our Nation. They no longer believe that our rights are unalienable and come from God, but rather that our rights come from they, the Government. This is the exact form of tyranny that our Founding Fathers fought against. Agenda 21 affects every aspect of our lives, and is a real threat to our private property rights and U.S. sovereignty. The Constitution of the United States is being undermined by the U.N. through implementation of Agenda 21. The U.S. Constitution must always remain the only document that guides our government. The U.N. will never have any authority over our Republic. We must have Representatives that will protect our God given rights! I, Gregg Imus, will do everything I can to stop the implementation of U.N. Agenda 21 at every level of government.

The fact the someone called anyone a slut on a nationally broadcasted radio show is bad. Whether she is or not, it isn't good manners to go ,calling her one.
And it is upsetting to me that no one seems upset except the liberals. I KNOW some liberals have called some conservatives, sluts and even worse. Heck some have even wished they were dead but the fact is that doesn't make it right just cuz they do it to us does it?

Seriously, if you want to hold everyone up to certain standards of behavior then you better be prepared to uphold those standards yourself. I'm sick and tired of the name calling on all sides. Rush was wrong, he should not have called her a slut. I am disappointed in the people who think this is OK because she said some things they didn't agree with or because other people have called people in their party bad names.

What? Wait.... so now if you are a racist there is a pill for that... who determines you are racist and makes you take this pill? I ask because I have been called racist for not voting for Obama......

Regulation Nation: New study finds Obama’s regs cost $46 billion a year

Some 10,215 new federal regulations from the Obama administration are costing consumers, businesses and the economy overall $46 billion annually, more than five times the regulatory price tag of former President Bush in his first three years in office. Worse: just implementing those regulations had a one-time additional cost of $11 billion, according to a Heritage Foundation analysis provided to Washington Secrets.

Ironically, Bush instituted more regulations, 10,674, but they cost just $8.1 billion annually, said the Heritage report, titled “Red Tape Rising: Obama and Regulation at the Three Year Mark.” It will be released Tuesday.

Yes, I have been remiss in posting lately. Been burnt out on politics I reckon. That and life getting in the way.
All things political have seemed to really bug me as of late. It seems no matter which "side" is speaking they are spouting the same small minded stereotypical bashing of the other "side" and I find it disgusting.
Sometimes it seems no one really cares about the Constitution or Freedoms they just care that their views are the right views no matter what...
And yes, it is p!ssing me off!
I just want to start screaming at everyone to grow the heck up and open your eyes! Stop fighting and start working together to save our country!!!!
We have people in this country who are so intelligent and talented in all sorts of areas, we could fix this country. If only everyone would get to a point where differences were put aside and common sense came into play.
I'm not saying give up your beliefs. I am saying realize that some times compromise is the only way we can move forward.
Just very frustrating....

Free Country? Think Again!

WASHINGTON -- The Misguided Senate voted on Tuesday to keep a provision to let the military detain terrorism suspects on U.S. soil and hold them indefinitely without trial.
Think about these words...
INDEFINITELY WITHOUT TRIAL
Now, I ask you why this should concern us. Why? We all want the terrorists punished right? We want to be safe and protected. Let's consider who are under suspicion.
Here are a couple:
"having missing fingers" OMG my Uncle has missing fingers, they were smashed in a JRT action while he was in the Reserves and had to be amputated. Could he be under suspicion?  
"having firearms and ammunition, especially weatherproof ammo" Ummm.... 2nd Amendment?
"having a stock pile of more than 7 days of food" HELLO? Times are hard, with the economy the way it is who isn't stocking up? We try to, we never know when hubby's company is going to go belly up and close so why would we not stock up? He gets paid every two weeks so we try to get two weeks worth of groc at a time... OMG are we under suspicion? What about canning/freezing summer vegis? That surely would be under suspicion.
Now that you know a few obscure things that may lead to suspicion... I am not saying that this is the only thing or that it would EVER be used as a method to detain innocent citizens but let's face the truth of the way the world is right now. We do not know. Why allow our government to bypass the very thing they have been elected into office to uphold in the name of national security? ANYTHING that bypasses our Constitutional Rights, no matter what the intentional purpose of the act, could be used on innocent people. Do you know how easy it is for a sitting president (no matter which political party they may be in) to declare martial law? National Disaster, Terrorist Attack, Civil Unrest, and "Other Circumstances" (whatever that is)are all reasons martial law could be declared. I'm not saying this president, or the next or thirty years down the line would take advantage of these laws and turn them against us but when it comes to our freedoms, and the freedoms of our children and grandchildren WE NEED TO BE ASKING THE WHAT IF'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whenever a law goes before congress we the people need to be asking what if someone got into office that wanted to usurp our freedoms? This is not being asked enough lately. People are afraid they will lose facebook friends or be told to put their tin foil hat back on. They don't want to be labeled a nutcase or conspiracy theorist or worse, they are so afraid of terrorism in the now they fail to realize the very things being claimed to protect us are taking away our freedoms and place our future in very unstable ground. Don't think a president of this country could become a dictator? I am sure the countries of Egypt and Iraq (and numerous other countries) thought the same many years ago.... I am sure the people of Germany did not believe any one could take their country into such a dark place as to exterminate more than one million Jewish children! Do you see what I am saying? Can you see why this SHOULD concern every law abiding citizen of this country?
